Evangelize Americas exists to proclaim Jesus Christ, form missionary disciples, strengthen the domestic church, promote communion among Christians, and help renew the communities in which we live.

OUR MISSION

We affirm that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life through whom eternal life is discovered. We seek to respond to His call by becoming ambassadors for Christ and ministers of reconciliation, serving our neighbors and inviting them into the family of God.

JOHN PAUL II'S VISION AND OUR STORY

Evangelize Americas is rooted in a vision of the Church's missionary vocation in the Third Millennium. Pope St. John Paul II called the Church to a renewed evangelization and to cross the threshold of the new millennium with missionary enthusiasm.

Our work brings together evangelization, missionary discipleship, the domestic church, Christian unity and the renewal of society. We seek to overcome animosity, suspicion, envy and competition among Christian traditions so that Christ's prayer for unity may increasingly be lived.

A VISION FOR THE THIRD MILLENNIUM

We believe the Americas can become a place of missionary renewal and a field for building communion. Our approach begins with the person closest to us—our family, our neighbor, our local community—and expands outward through practical service, formation and cooperation.

The Good Samaritan Mission

Jesus chose the Good Samaritan as an example of love across a divided community. Evangelize Americas takes this as a practical model: to love our neighbors, serve people in need, cross barriers, and build relationships that make the Gospel visible.

Our neighborhoods are filled with people whom God desires to welcome into His family. Through baptism, Christians are incorporated into Christ and are called to share in His mission as priest, prophet and king—ambassadors for Christ and ministers of reconciliation.

Evangelize Americas describes communities as extended families whose health is shaped by seven essential spheres. We seek to encourage Christian presence, cooperation and service within each.
